| | cheerful | ] | So it's been a dreadfully long time since I could update last, but, I have big news.
I am 3 months pregnant.
Yep, not a typo, I'm actually having a baby. Weird, huh?
Other than that though I'm starting school this month, and really looking forward to it. Even though I'm going to have to suffer through mostly GE classes, I'm excited about being in a learning environment again. It will be a nice change from working all day long.
Funny, right now I'm more excited about school than the baby. I know that will change, it just seems still so...unreal.
Things are good though. Really good. Yay! |

| | Pink Floyd- The Wall | ] | Okay, so scratch the previous entry about the place in Irvine.
We have signed paper work and are moving to a place in Costa Mesa on the 16th.
Holy shit that's soon.
It's a cool place though. It's a town home, so the bedrooms are upstairs and the living room, kitchen, and dining room are downstairs. It's pretty chill; it has a front patio and a back yard, a fireplace, a down stairs guest bathroom, and a little creek in front of the house.
Both bedrooms have private bathrooms and walk in closets; but it does not have a washer and dryer in the unit. Still, it's cute and well priced. Plus there's a big fitness center and plenty of parking. I think we will be quite happy in our little home.
Yay. |

| | cheerful | ] | So it looks like we might actually have our own place by the end of April. I can't believe it. We committed to a deadline and it looks like we're gonna make it for once. Right on.
It's a two bedroom (as were moving in with Andrew's cousin Sabrina) in Irvine. Close to the Marketplaces and all of our jobs; quiet but a young crowd. LOTS of trees. So cute, when Sabrina and I went on a tour we bought lemonade from a kid selling it at a booth outside. I've always wanted to live somewhere besides my parents neighborhood where they do that.
The place itself is really big and has a very airy feel to it. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, which is obviously a must. Andrew's and my room is the bigger of the two, but doesn't have the bathroom attached, like Sabrina's. It's not a hassle though, because the bathroom is just outside the door to our room. Both rooms come with mirrored closet doors, which is a feature I adore.
The kitchen has a lot of counter space, and a counter that faces out to the living room. It also comes with a fridge, and has gas stoves. I refuse to cook with out a gas stove anymore. I know, roll you eyes.
We have a big deck off the living room with sliding glass doors, a fire place, and it's on the 2nd floor which makes it a little more safe feeling. Oh, and a brand new washer and dryer in the unit and a 24 hour fitness center in the complex. It's nice too, I scoped it out.
The more I remember it the more I'm excited about it. A house warming party is definitely going to be in order. |

| | morose | ] | For those of you who didn't yet know....Arrow 93.1 FM died on March 17th at 5:00 pm. Replaced by JACK FM, Arrow enjoyed a 12 year run, taking over the station in 1993. The new JACK plays a blend of classic rock, disco, 80's and early 90's.
I'm wary.
I miss my Arrow. ------------------- In rememberance, an ode to a good friend:
So long Uncle Joe, and your Five o' Clock Free Rides, Good night Nick Luna, thanks for the lullabies. Jonny B, I harldy knew thee Maggie McKay, I wish you would stay. Arrow 93, you truly pierced my heart. Arrow 93, I loved you from the start. -------------------
This means no Arrowfest this year. Suddenly my autograph from Sherri Donovan seems worth so much more.
Thanks for the sing alongs, the rock block weekends and the jams.
Thanks for the memories man. |

 | You scored as agnosticism. You are an agnostic. You neither believe nor disbelieve in God. You don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof).
Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.

| | determined | ] | So life in the OC is back in full swing again.
I'm working full time at a mediocre job. I make mediocre pay and the people I work with are mediocre idiots.
Andrew and I work together now, which has it's advantages and it's disadvantages. Carpooling is sweet. Spending every waking minute together is tiresome. All though he just started a second night job, so that gives me some time to clear my head.
Actually, things are really good with he and I. Better than they were this time last year, definitely. Curious thing though, my ex boyfriend from my sophomore year at high school has been emailing me.
It's kind of nice as I've often wondered how he's been, but always leaves me feeling rather like my life hasn't gone anywhere. It's time I started school again. For real this time. I'm tired of being stuck in a crappy hourly job, I should have a career already.
Yes, it's time. |
